PRIDE Industries Promotes Berghuis to Chief Operating Officer

ROSEVILLE – PRIDE Industries announced a recent promotion to increase operational efficiencies and better support its customers and mission. PRIDE Industries is a nonprofit social enterprise meeting the manufacturing and facilities service needs of businesses and government agencies nationwide while creating meaningful jobs for people with disabilities.

Peter Berghuis, a 22-year veteran in large-scale operations and contract management and most recently Senior Vice President, Integrated Facilities Services at the company was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, PRIDE Industries.

The company announced a consolidation of all PRIDE Industries’ service divisions operations under Mr. Berghuis. PRIDE’s Manufacturing and Logistics Services and Integrated Facilities Services divisions have been merged into one operational center supported by Information Technology and Procurement, also under Mr. Berghuis’ management. The move will increase efficiencies while taking advantage of existing synergies between the divisions.

Prior to the promotion, Berghuis oversaw contracting activities in 13 states and Washington, D.C. including subcontracting, costing and estimating at more than 50 business locations. Berghuis received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Los Angeles.
