For 50 years, PRIDE Industries has been enabling individuals with disabilities to transcend the obstacles in their paths and ascend to greater independence through employment.
At PRIDE, we know that disability does not mean inability, and that employment builds confidence, self-reliance and dignity.
PRIDE Ascend enables people with disabilities to gain technical skills and attain industry-based certifications to help meet the growing demand for skilled labor.
Finding, developing, and retaining quality employees is no easy task. This is especially true for employers who understand that the same qualities that help a person rise above their disability are the most sought after in the workplace: resilience, determination and persistence in pursuit of a goal.
Currently, PRIDE Ascend offers construction and facility maintenance-based training programs, both of which offer certificates of completion, award continuing education unit credits, and provide continued workforce training opportunities through career-oriented apprenticeships.
PRIDE leverages both its accreditation with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) accredited programs offered by the Technical Publishing Company (TPC) as its foundation.
PRIDE Industries is currently in the process of becoming accredited as a licensed Career Training school through the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC).
