As senior vice president of rehabilitation services, Vic Wursten is responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of the organization’s human service programs to prepare, train and place individuals with disabilities in employment within PRIDE Industries and the community. PRIDE Industries employs and serves more than 3,200 people with a range of disabilities and obstacles to employment. His oversight includes programs and operations at 13 Northern California locations, PRIDE’s foster youth program, and expanding services across the State of California.
Wursten has over 35 years of business and social service management experience including expertise in manufacturing, distribution and the delivery of program services.
He currently serves on the Board of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Workforce Investment Board (Golden Sierra). He is an active member of the California Disability Services Association and ACCSES organization, representing more than 1200 disability service providers nationwide. Previously, Wursten served on the Sacramento Metro Chamber Board, Special Olympics Northern California Advisory Board, and Sacramento Autism Regional Task Force.
Wursten has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco and an MBA from California State University, Sacramento. He is a graduate of Sacramento State College of Continuing Education APICS program (Material Management) and the CSUS Leadership for the New Millennium program.
