Companywide update from Jeff Dern, President

March 23, 2020

All PRIDE,

PRIDE leadership is monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation nonstop to keep you informed and safe. For many of us, this crisis may feel personally overwhelming at times. The good news is we all have the power to stop the spread of this virus by practicing good hygiene and social distancing both at home and at work.

PRIDE’s Safety team has provided the best safety training and resources possible. The majority of PRIDE’s operations across the country remain open, and we want every PRIDE team member to be safe and protected! I’m asking for everyone’s commitment to work safely, keep a 6 ft. distance from others, wash hands frequently, avoid touching your face, and stay home if you do not feel well.

PRIDE’s customers span a variety of essential businesses. Businesses like PRIDE that provide services to other essential businesses are permitted to operate during “shelter in place” or “stay at home” orders. Our country needs PRIDE’s essential services to help maintain our nation’s infrastructure and supply chains. Attached is a letter that explains PRIDE’s essential services that you may present to any officials requesting information from you when commuting to/ from work.

The list of PRIDE’s essential services is noted below. If you have any questions about your work site, please communicate directly with your management team, including your HR representative.

PRIDE operates in support of the following essential businesses:

• Airports
• Facilities operations, including construction, custodial, and landscaping
• Healthcare facilities and environmental services
• Food service and food packaging/fulfillment
• IT equipment manufacturing/packaging/fulfillment
• Medical device manufacturing
• Amazon recruiting
• Shipboard provisioning
• Pest control
• Commissaries
• Transportation and other social services

To date, PRIDE leadership has identified alternate work options for team members who are impacted by work reductions.

I’m so proud of how everyone has pulled together to do their part during this emergency. We will get through this crisis as ONE PRIDE! Please work safely to help us keep PRIDE’s businesses and our mission going strong!

Best,
Jeff
