VSP Global is a vision care health insurance and retail eyewear company operating in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Ireland and the UK. It serves 85 million members worldwide and is the largest vision insurance company in the United States.

The Challenge

VSP Global needed consistent, responsive custodial and facilities management for its call center location in Ohio. PRIDE Industries needed to implement a process to ensure the facilities would pass CIMS-GB audits and meet VSP’s meticulous, high standards for the robust scope of work. This required extreme attention to detail and focus to meet VSP’s needs.

The PRIDE Solution

PRIDE Industries conducted a review of the Ohio location with the purpose of upgrading the scope of work, establishing service benchmarks and duplicating the world-class custodial service it had demonstrated in 10+years providing service at VSP’s headquarters in California; employees use PRIDEClean® products to provide the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation without toxic chemicals. 

PRIDE proactively used software and a web-based contract management system to account for all tasks and ensure all performed work met established benchmarks. PRIDE conducted rigorous tracking of all work, collaborated with VSP and conducted joint audits to verify that all work met and exceeded VSP’s expectations. Each quarter VSP and PRIDE hold business reviews to assess performance and explore new process improvements. Through it all, PRIDE equips staff with the best tools and innovative technology as they deliver the service in the safest and most efficient manner possible.
