ROSEVILLE – PRIDE Industries, a leading employer of people with disabilities, was recently awarded the George Washington Honor Medal, Meritorious Certificate of Honor by the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. PRIDE also received a Special Congressional Certificate, presented by Congressman Tom McClintock. The awards were presented Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the 2011 Awards Luncheon in Sacramento, CA.

 

PRIDE Industries was nominated by the Sacramento Chapter of Freedoms Foundation. The National Award Program is intended to honor those whose projects, words or deed reflect the best of the American spirit of volunteerism by offering constructive solutions to contemporary problems. Each chapter searches for outstanding organizations and individuals, recognizing them for their contribution to community development, education, and service.
