PRIDE California operations ARE deemed essential
March 19, 2020
I want to communicate that PRIDE will continue to operate all of our businesses in California.
After learning of California Governor Gavin Newsom’s statewide “stay at home” order tonight, we reviewed the Governor’s order in detail. For purposes of this order, our leadership team has determined that PRIDE’s California customers are deemed essential businesses under the Governor’s order. Therefore, PRIDE is permitted to continue operating as usual.
Remember, we must follow required safety protocols at work at all PRIDE locations. For team members at PRIDE work sites, please keep 6 feet apart from co-workers and other people. Wash your hands regularly and use all required personal protective clothing/ equipment. Our management teams will be strictly enforcing these required safety protocols. If you are unsure of your safety requirements, please stop and ask your manager or safety team representative. You may also contact the safety team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remember, if you have symptoms such as fever of 100.4 F, cough, and/or shortness of breath, please stay home and contact your manager.
If you have any questions or concerns, please speak with your management team or you may send me a note anytime.
As always, thank you for your role in supporting PRIDE’s mission to create jobs for people with disabilities!
