PRIDE Industries is a Social Enterprise

Shifting the Workplace Paradigm

Through proven business performance, we are shifting the paradigm about the value people with disabilities bring to a high-performance workforce. We optimize our customers’ business operations while creating sustainable career opportunities and training for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. We prove the value of an inclusive workforce model every day through our social enterprise model and operational success across multiple industries. Let us show you how.

Business Excellence with a Positive Social Impact

For over 55 years, PRIDE Industries has delivered business excellence with a positive social impact. During that time, we’ve partnered with hundreds of organizations like the U.S. government, HP Inc., Ingram Micro, and VSP Vision. We’ve built their electronic devices and their medical equipment. We’ve kept their grounds green and their facilities pristine. And we’ve packaged and shipped thousands of retail products. Our inclusive recruitment and training programs have enabled these same organizations to qualify for tax incentives, attract social impact (ESG) investors, appeal to customers, and achieve their inclusion and diversity goals.

Guiding Principles

Our goal is to create 100,000 jobs for people with disabilities.

One in five Americans has a disability, and two-thirds of working-age Americans with disabilities are unemployed. As the nation’s leading employer of people with disabilities, we believe that people of all abilities should have equal access to achieve their employment goals. And that belief shapes everything we are as a company. We are bound by a set of core values and a shared commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Safety

The safety and wellbeing of our employees and customers is our priority.

Inclusion

We create a workplace that fosters belonging, respect, and value for all.

Customer Success

We go above and beyond. We measure success by our internal and external customers’ success.

Our History

PRIDE Industries was founded in 1966 in the basement of a church in Auburn, California by a group of parents of young adults with developmental disabilities; they wanted their grown children to have purpose and experience the dignity of a paycheck. Today, PRIDE Industries operates across 15 states plus Washington, D.C. We are the leading employer of people with disabilities in the nation.

What Sets Us Apart

Every day, our innovative recruiting and training programs allow us to create an inclusive workforce that drives bottom-line growth for our business partners. And we do it with an enviable safety record. Because of our unique mission, partnering with us helps you do more than achieve your inclusion and diversity goals. It also increases your appeal to consumers, attracts social impact (ESG) investors, enables you to qualify for tax incentives, and gives your organization a unique social marketing advantage.
