I AM ABLE Disability Job Fair Draws 1,000 Job Seekers
Thank you to everyone who participated in our second annual I AM ABLE Disability Job Fair! Nearly 1,000 people with disabilities met with 40 different employers, as well as agencies that provide employment services. The four-hour event was the first step on a new career path for many individuals, and we’re grateful to our partners for helping to make this possible.
Our 3rd annual I AM ABLE Disability Job Fair will be held in October 2025 at a large venue in the Sacramento area. Stay tuned for more details!

Come meet representatives from more than 30 companies who are committed to hiring, training, and accommodating employees with disabilities. This is your chance to explore various open positions in different industries. You can even get help with your resume, along with expert advice on interviewing techniques.
And if you want to learn more about the employment services you qualify for, you can speak to advisors from the California Department of Rehabilitation, Alta California Regional Center, and other government agencies.

Why Pre-Register?
Pre-registration is not required, but if you register by October 4, you’ll not only get to check in faster, you’ll also get a free swag bag with notebook, pen, and other goodies!
PRIDE Industries will provide shuttle service between the job fair and the southwest end of the Light Rail Station at I-80 and Watt Avenue. Look for the shuttle sign and a volunteer at the light rail station pick-up spot.
Service will begin at 9:30 am and continue approximately every 30 minutes. The last shuttle from the job fair to the light rail will leave at 2:00 p.m.
What to Expect
More than 30 companies are seeking to fill open positions in maintenance, administration, and a range of other specialties.
To get the most out of the job fair, be prepared to talk about your skills and bring at least 30 copies of your resume.
Accommodations
The I AM ABLE Disability Job Fair is designed to be fully accessible. There will be ASL interpreters on hand, informational materials in braille, water and relief areas for service dogs, quiet spaces for distraction-free interviews, and other accommodations.
