ROSEVILLE – PRIDE Industries was named the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) 2010 Agricultural Research Services (ARS) AbilityOne® Program Contractor of the Year at an Awards Ceremony held June 16, 2010 in Washington, D.C. PRIDE Industries was nominated by the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and Pacific West Area (PWA) Procurement Office within the USDA.
The Department of Agriculture (USDA) conducts an annual small business and AbilityOne® award program to recognize exemplary service to the Department. PRIDE Industries provides janitorial and grounds maintenance services for the USDA, Agricultural Research Service Agency at their Davis, CA location, and is a proud partner in the AbilityOne® Program. The AbilityOne Program is a federal initiative to help people who are blind or have other severe disabilities find employment by working for nonprofit agencies (NPAs) that sell products and/or services to the U.S. government.
