Roseville, Calif. — Jack Jackman, a 39-year U.S. Air Force veteran, has joined PRIDE Industries as its Vice President of Contracts. Jackman will oversee a growing team of specialists who manage PRIDE’s contract agreements with customers, both large and small.
The company’s significant growth necessitated the creation of this new position.
“Gone are the days when contracts could be handled as just one of several responsibilities,” said Casey Blake, PRIDE’s Chief Operating Officer and a retired Air Force Major General. “Given the number and complexity of the contracts we enter into, it was time to dedicate a department to this important function.”
PRIDE Industries grossed nearly $350 million last year, serving a mix of government and commercial customers. The nonprofit social enterprise has a presence in multiple markets, from commercial facilities operations to manufacturing, kitting, and fulfillment to inclusive recruitment services. All its lines of business support a single mission: to provide jobs to people with disabilities and barriers to employment.
“The social mission is one of the reasons I was so excited to join PRIDE,” said Jackman. “During my career with the Air Force, I sought ways to support local communities, wherever I was stationed. PRIDE lets me continue that tradition.”
Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Jackman served in multiple leadership positions, including Squadron Commander, during his distinguished Air Force career. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to PRIDE, having been directly involved with providing contracting support for large installation operations and management functions both overseas and within the United States.
At PRIDE, Jackman plans to focus on improving organizational systems and simplifying contract management, thereby creating a department that can scale quickly as the company grows.
