Come and take a look inside PRIDE Industries’ new Career Hub to see how we are helping opportunity youth and people with disabilities find employment support and get on the path to independence.
In this video, we talk to employment specialists who explain their roles at the center and how they provide employment support for people with disabilities and youth aged 16-24 through the YES (Youth Employment Services) program.
The newly reopened Career Hub will be the primary location for our Youth Employment Services (YES!) pilot program. Services include soft skills and vocational training, as well as job search guidance and placement opportunities. Job support services include work transportation, employee liaison services, on-the-job coaching, mentoring, counseling, continuing education, and full- and part-time paid internships. YES! also offers instruction and support for independent living, and provides training in personal safety, relationship building, and interpersonal communication. The program also provides recovery education and support.
